As a non-profit professional with over 15 years of experience, Katie is excited to join the team at River City Company and their vision of a thriving downtown Chattanooga for all. Katie is proud call Chattanooga home and to have had the opportunity to dedicate my career to organizations that are deeply invested in ensuring that our community is a place where all individuals can thrive.

Prior to joining River City Company, Katie worked for the Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga finishing her time there as the Director of Operations and Engagement. While working for the small non-profit she served many roles from coordinating the collective philanthropy arm of the organization, to maintain relationships with donors to managing the day-to-day operations of the organization.

Katie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the

the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2004 and her Masters of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin in 2009. 

Katie currently serves as a Board of Trustee for St. Nicholas School.  Informally, she loves connecting individuals with nonprofits and organizations doing work that align with their volunteer interests.

Katie and her husband have two boys and love hiking, camping, and generally being outside exploring together.
