Downtown District Banner Program
Started in the late 1990’s as a partnership with the City of Chattanooga, River City Company has supported creating a sense of place in downtown Chattanooga through the District Banner program.
Today, the street banner program beautifies downtown Chattanooga with a display of banners designed to promote downtown as well as to celebrate its revitalization and progress. The street banners serve as a tool to welcome visitors and residents alike to downtown Chattanooga.
2023 - 2024 Banner Update
We are now seeking a refresh by incorporating new artwork created by the community through a new request for qualifications with Public Art Chattanooga! We started with the Southside District and will continue to replace districts over the coming months.
