Curb

Chattanooga Urbanists, or CURB, exists to increase activism by the individual in transforming the urban realm. We are a group who come together to tackle small projects that bring attention to bigger needs in our community. The program is hosted by the Chattanooga Design Studio.

Park(ing) Day

Park(ing) Day is an international event that reclaims metered parking spots for a day to create temporary public spaces.

The Urban Design Studio now manages the event.

Chattanewbies

ChattaNewbies is a monthly meetup, connecting new faces to places and people in our community.  When people move, they not only leave behind their favorite coffee shop or brunch spot, but they have also left the people and places they know and love.

Downtown Alliance

The Downtown Chattanooga Alliance manages the Business Improvement District, which is a private sector initiative to improve a portion of Downtown with enhanced clean, safe and beautification services made possible by downtown businesses, property owners and homeowners.

Clean & Green

Clean and Green is Downtown Chattanooga's annual beautification and cleanup event. This is your day to give back in your downtown Chattanooga. The program is now managed by Green Steps.

Nightfall

The free Nightfall concert series, produced by Chattanooga Presents, is typically held each Friday night from the beginning of May through the end of August.

It is held rain or shine - in Miller Plaza and Miller Park.
